I didn't say their strategy was a good one. I do believe playing in a baseball stadium is a worse strategy.

According to Google, the stadiums are less than 15 minutes apart so distance should not be a factor. Most fans don't from campus anyway.

Miami put 80k in the Orange Bowl when they won. That's the nature of their fan base.

And yes, I would drive an extra 15 minutes, even a hour, to watch my team if it meant sitting in a football stadium. I would not walk across the street to see them in a baseball stadium.
